About The Event
The Drones, AI & GIS for Disaster Risk Management Conference (DRM 2026)
Southern Africa’s premier platform for exploring how cutting-edge technologies are transforming disaster preparedness, response and recovery.
Now in its 5th instalment, this annual event brings together experts from government, academia, industry and civil society to address the growing challenges of natural and human-induced disasters.
Hosted from 24–26 November 2026 at the Radisson Blu Hotel in Umhlanga, KwaZulu-Natal, the conference offers keynote presentations, panel discussions, practical workshops and live technology demonstrations.
Registration opens daily at 08:30. The conference programme runs from 09:00 to 17:00 each day.
